Leasing Director

Job Description
  • Market and lease available properties to attract qualified tenants.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for vacant units.
  • Manage online listings, respond promptly to inquiries, and conduct virtual or in-person property tours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leasing & Marketing
  • Develop effective marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants.
  • Follow up with potential tenants to move them through the leasing pipeline.
Tenant Screening & Application Processing
  • Process rental applications, including conducting background checks and verifying employment history.
  • Ensure all screening processes are conducted in compliance with fair housing laws.
Lease Administration
  • Prepare, negotiate, and execute all lease agreements with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manage lease renewals by proactively reaching out to current residents.
Reporting & Market Analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activity.
  • Prepare regular reports on leasing traffic and occupancy rates.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure rental rates are competitive.
Relationship Management
  • Build positive relationships with tenants through excellent communication skills.
  • Address questions and concerns from prospective tenants in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Leasing Agent or Manager.
  • Strong understanding of leasing principles and fair housing regulations.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting leasing targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with property management software.
