Job Overview

The role of the Financial Director involves overseeing financial operations, collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining robust financial frameworks, ensuring governance and risk management best practices.
  • Leading statutory, financial, tax, and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely information in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the CFO and Finance team with budgeting and financial planning processes, aligning with strategic goals.
  • Measuring business performance, driving improvements, and providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in accounting, finance, and commercial roles
  • At least 3 years experience as a Financial Director or equivalent
  • Certified Public Accountant Qualified or Chartered Accountant
  • High level of proficiency in financial reporting, tax, internal controls, and compliance
  • Effective negotiator with third-party vendors and able to deliver targeted business or contract terms with favorable outcomes
