Operational Compliance Officer Job Description

An Operational Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of compliance risk by guaranteeing that all regulatory requirements are meticulously met.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing standard AML/KYC processes and performing thorough risk assessments to maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory documentation.

  • Execute standard AML/KYC processes, perform basic risk assessments, and ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory documentation.
  • Support client communication, monitor compliance requirements, process FATCA/CRS documentation, and verify data accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review KYC documentation for completeness, process standard investor onboarding files, and monitor compliance deadlines with precision.
  • Validate FATCA classifications, verify GIINs against IRS records, prepare regulatory reports, and maintain efficient tracking systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field with academic distinction.
  • Demonstrate 1-2 years of experience in AML/KYC processing or compliance roles with exceptional performance.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and regulatory documentation standards is essential, along with competence in managing FATCA/CRS documentation and proficiency with compliance databases and tools.
