Security Risk Specialist Role

As a Security Risk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, tracking, and mitigating security risks across the organization. You will leverage industry best practices and drive innovation in assessments and modelling to ensure the highest level of security.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define security risk management standards and playbooks that align with organizational goals.
  • Analyse and improve existing security risk practices to enhance overall security posture.
  • Evaluate, select and implement new security requirements, tools and practices to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Grow the presence and thought leadership of the security risk management practice through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Develop learning and development materials to educate stakeholders on security risk management best practices.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to present information and influence change initiatives.
  • Participate in developing key risk indicators, provide inputs to the development of key control indicators, and key performance indicators for various programs.
  • Apply statistical models to risk frameworks (such as FAIR, sensitivity analysis, and others) to inform decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic track record and strong foundation in computer science or related field.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path.
  • Drive and a track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve results.
  • Deep personal motivation to be at the forefront of technology security and contribute to the organization's success.
  • Leadership and management ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
  • Excellent business English writing and presentation skills to communicate complex ideas.
  • Problem-solver with excellent communication skills, a deep technical understanding of security assessments and risk management.
