DBA/Data Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled and analytical professional to fill the DBA/Data Analyst role. This position involves leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, with a focus on analytics and education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, including experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools. Additionally, they should be able to communicate complex data insights effectively to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large datasets using Python and SQL to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative units to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
  • Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
