Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Leader to lead and own internal finance and accounting operations. This hands-on role will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversight of AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintenance of orderly financial records and documentation.
  • Preparation and analysis of the three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establishment and continuous improvement of financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Management of vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Development and maintenance of a rolling 13-week cash flow report to support liquidity management.
  • Creation and maintenance of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Scenario analysis and cash flow projections to senior management.
Tax and Compliance Expertise
  • Preparation and filing of U.S. corporate tax returns and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • (Optional) Management of Singapore tax filings (corporate income tax, GST) with external advisors.
  • Liaison with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary.
Administrative Support
  • Maintenance of proper filing systems for contracts, invoices, and corporate records.
  • Assistance in preparing and sending out contract templates and related documents.
  • Support for basic HR functions, such as employee record maintenance and coordination with external providers.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred; ACCA/CA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm, ideally in a managerial or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with U.S. tax law (Singapore tax experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with audit processes and buy-side financial due diligence is a plus but optional.
  • Controller-level experience is a strong advantage.

  • Understanding of the three core financial statements and their interconnections.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of critical evaluation.
  • Highly organized; able to maintain orderly records and documents.
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems; initiates process improvements without prompting.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
