About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. Your responsibilities will include performing accounts receivable functions, entering routine journal entries and bank transactions, and reconciling, investigating, correcting, and adjusting accounting information. You will also assist in the preparation of financial statements and information for tax accountants, as well as various other duties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation
- Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions
- Enter AR payments and credit card transactions if needed
- Perform month-end closing and reconciliation
- Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Support department peers as needed

Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Combinations of Training and Experience
- 2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
