Job Title: AU Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. in Sto. Domingo, Angeles City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian accounting and taxation, with expertise in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations using MYOB, Xero, or QBO.
  • Process payroll, including superannuation, leave accruals, and PAYG reporting.
  • Assist in preparing and lodging BAS (Business Activity Statement) and IAS (Income Activity Statement) in compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Generate and maintain accurate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in MYOB, Xero, or QBO.
  • Ensure proper GST recording and reporting for all transactions.
  • Assist with end-of-month and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation and audits as required.
  • Manage client inquiries related to financial matters, invoicing, and payroll.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with specific experience in handling Australian accounts.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Solid understanding of Australian taxation, including BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG, and Superannuation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Experience in managing payroll and superannuation compliance.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other bookkeeping-related software.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
