Data Administrator Position

As a Data Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data movement and integrity across systems.

You will administer and maintain Microsoft Fabric and Azure data environments, including OneLake, SQL Analytics, Data Factory, and Runbooks. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and troubleshooting ETL/ELT workflows to prevent any disruptions.

Your key objectives are to support reporting and analytics initiatives by maintaining datasets and collaborating with business intelligence analysts and stakeholders. You will also implement scripting solutions for data updates and API ingestion to contribute to automation and efficiency.

Maintaining documentation of data flows, lineage, and transformations is essential to ensure transparency and version control. Ensuring data security, compliance, and optimal use of Fabric capacity by preventing duplication and maintaining consistency are critical tasks.

You will be part of continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance performance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in data administration, integration, and workflow orchestration using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, SQL Analytics, Data Factory, and Runbooks.
  • Working knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and API ingestion.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, with experience in scripting and automation.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and documentation practices.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to learning and knowledge sharing.
