Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to oversee the delivery of housekeeping, catering and environmental services.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate and train staff. They will also have effective written and verbal communication skills and great interpersonal skills.

In addition to hands-on duties as a Team Leader, you will organise staff rosters and manage leave; efficiently allocate resources according to operational needs; ensure cleaning tasks and related environmental services daily activities are completed in accordance with policies and procedures.

You will assist with laundry/linen and waste services; provide support, direction & training to staff; ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas; and the cleaning service provided meets all cleaning and safety requirements, policies, standards, licenses and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital cleaning
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet physical aspects of the position
  • Self-motivated approach
  • Demonstrated commitment to high customer service and quality improvement
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
