We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead the month-end close process for multiple companies. In this critical role, you will oversee financial reporting and planning for several portfolio entities.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire month-end close process across various companies.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, controls, and procedures.
  • Assist with technical research and document findings in accounting memorandums.
  • Collaborate on intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
  • Support annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Manage corporate credit card programs.
  • Be willing to assist with any accounting function if necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship skills with the ability to work with others at all levels.
  • QuickBooks Online and Xero experience.
