Remote Customer Service Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Service Agent to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through professional and efficient communication.


Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues on the first call through effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Research and retrieve information across systems to support customer needs and provide accurate solutions.
  • Document interactions and process claims with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Guide customers through available options to find the best solutions for their needs.
  • Follow established scripts, policies, and procedures while utilizing available resources.
  • Protect customer privacy and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members or supervisors as needed.
  • Stay current with training, updates, and program knowledge to ensure optimal performance.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous call center experience required.
  • Work from home experience preferred.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM.
  • High-speed internet connection.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and follow-up.
  • Able to multitask and self-manage effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role is largely sedentary with use of computer and telephone headset. May require moving or lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
