Accounts Officer Role

This is a dynamic accounts role designed to support daily finance operations. The Accounts Officer will provide essential support to keep invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes up to date.

The role offers the opportunity to work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts environment and gain experience in core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with confidence in phone-based customer and supplier interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
  • Collaborates with external partners managing finance functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central in an accounts role.
  • Strong understanding of core accounting processes including invoicing, credit notes, bank reconciliations, and payments.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external customers.
  • Experience working within a business undergoing system change or ERP migration.
