Business Development Leadership Opportunity

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and develop high-performing business development teams, driving growth and success in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading business development teams, with expertise in coaching and mentoring. They will be able to provide strategic leadership, enable team members to exceed performance targets, and drive the team forward to achieve aggressive growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing business development team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth, identify new opportunities, and optimize sales processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales operations, and recruitment, to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance team performance and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience leading business development or inside sales teams.
  • Expertise in coaching and mentoring business development teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Proven capability of developing talent that progresses through the business.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience as a BDR rep in the software industry.
  • 2+ years' experience as an inside sales rep in the software industry advantageous.
