Accounting Professional Wanted

We're seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries for multiple clients.

Your expertise in US GAAP and practices, combined with proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis, will be invaluable to our organization. Additionally, your experience with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel will enable you to efficiently manage client engagements and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various clients
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, as well as journal entries
  • Understand payroll preparation, transaction entry, and year-end information
  • Review accounts for accurate postings and calculate retained earnings
  • Assist clients with accounting and basic software issues
  • Prepare payroll tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and CAT tax returns as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field
  • US Accounting experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and practices, with expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport and work effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dedicated home office area with private workspace
  • Minimum internet speed: 50-100 Mbps
  • Business continuity plan with power and internet backup
