Senior Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to oversee our end-to-end financial management cycle. This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and month-end close processes.

This role requires strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.

The Senior Controller will lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and prepare, review, and present management reports highlighting key business drivers, trends, and variances.

Responsibilities
  • Lead FP&A activities to support business objectives.
  • Oversee month-end close processes for timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and present management reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Mentor and lead a remote finance team fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Support internal and external audits providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in controllership, financial planning & analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setup.
