Key Compliance Officer Role

The ideal candidate will champion a culture of compliance and risk awareness across global operations, utilizing technology to enhance regulatory adherence and continually improve policies, training, and processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review high-risk client assessments: Assess 100% of escalated cases within 2 hours, provide feedback on oversights, and present each case to the Head of Compliance for approval within 4 hours.
  • Timely screening alert management: Ensure no name screening alerts are outstanding for more than 24 hours; resolve transaction monitoring alerts within 48 hours.
  • Quality review and reporting: Conduct quality reviews of Low/Medium/High-Risk cases (at least 20% of each category) and prepare a quarterly findings report with remediation suggestions.
  • Investigation timeliness and STR filing: Complete/review at least 80% of investigations within 15 calendar days; file required STRs within 5 days of closing the investigation.
  • Process improvements: Identify and recommend enhancements in client KYC, risk assessment, transaction monitoring or screening processes, to be implemented with Product and IT teams.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer.
  • Linguistic proficiency in English.
