Safety and Environmental Specialist

">About the Role:

The Safety and Environmental Specialist will oversee the implementation of safety and environmental policies, as well as other initiatives that enhance the organization's performance in these areas. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in environmental and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Appliances Management: Regular inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and exit signs.
  • Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular safety and environmental audits, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate corrective actions.
  • EHS Training: Assist in scheduling and conducting EHS training programs, including basic safety orientation and contractors' orientation.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate responses to accidents and incidents, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
">Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Licensed Chemical or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
  • Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO3) and/or Safety Officer (SO3) certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related industry.
">Requirements:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Mid-senior level position.
  • Ability to work onsite in Danao, Cebu.
