The role of a Product Stewardship Engineer involves analyzing materials used in products and packaging to assess conformity to global regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting relevant environmental regulations and industry best practices, providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers on product safety and environmental compliance issues, and preparing and maintaining product safety and environmental documentation.

Candidates with experience in new product development/design are preferred, as are those with exposure to LCA software tools and data analysis. The ability to work remotely is also possible.

Requirements
  1. An undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical or other relevant engineering discipline is required.
  2. A minimum of 5 years experience in product design - preferably in electrical equipment or medical devices - is also necessary.
  3. Candidates should be able to stay informed about emerging environmental and regulatory trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and minimize environmental impact.
