Job Summary:

The Occupational Health and Safety Expert will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting regular audits, and facilitating corrective actions.

• Safety appliances (fire extinguishers, emergency lights, exit signs) are regularly inspected and managed.
• Regular safety and environmental audits are conducted and facilitated, with findings addressed promptly.
• Progress of EHS programs is monitored and supported.
• EHS training is scheduled and facilitated as required.
• Basic safety orientation and contractors' orientation are conducted.
• Additional trainings are arranged as needed by the organization.
• Corrective and preventive actions are taken on accidents, incidents, audit findings, and observations.
• The needs and requirements of the ERT are attended to.

Qualifications:

• A strong background in environmental and safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response is essential.
• Must be a licensed engineer.
• Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Safety Officer (SO) certification is required.
• Willigness to work in Danao, Cebu is a must.
