Senior Project Lead

Job Title: Project Manager

• Oversee and monitor the preparation, implementation and completion of various work stages related to the construction of assigned projects.
• Ensure review and revisions of Plans, Designs and Specifications were conducted by Design Review group from Design Development (DD) up to For Construction Drawings (FCD).
• Oversee, facilitate and participate in the conduct and discussion of value engineering and identification of cost saving items for the implementation of the projects.
• Lead in the preparation of Risk Management Plan and monitor compliance of project to its mitigating actions. Look for continuous improvement opportunity for established Risk Management Plan.
• Identify and secure applicable permits, clearances and certifications required during project construction & post-construction stages in close coordination with Regulatory Compliance Section, QAD & GPMC. Ensure all project required permits, clearances and certifications are valid as necessary.
• Facilitate the conduct of pre-bid meetings, clarificatory meetings, submissions & opening of Project Work Bid Packages including recommendation to award of Project's Work Packages of assigned project.
• Responsible for the preparation, preliminary review, assessment and evaluation for adequacy of Contract Agreements, Letter of Awards (LOA) and Notice to Proceed (NTP) provisions and its required annexes and/or attachments for assigned project.
• Take the lead in promotion and campaign for an accident-free workplace of project and its compliance to applicable health and safety statutory and legal laws and requirements. In consultation with SMDC HSE Manager, shall provide the necessary resources to support the health and safety objectives, targets and programs.
• Take the lead in promotion and campaign for an environment-friendly workplace of project and its compliance to applicable environmental protection statutory and legal laws and requirements. In consultation with SMDC HSE Manager, shall provide the required resources to support the environmental protection objectives, targets and programs.
• Take the lead in ensuring and monitoring that QA/QC inspection on workmanship is performed on completed project works at each phases of project including closures of rectification issues/works prior to turn-over and acceptance of units by BTG.
• Oversee and responsible for the assessment, evaluation and approval of project billings (Contractors & Suppliers) in compliance to SAP billing procedures.
• Manages and implement the project management activities that will lead to attainment of established project KRAs under his/her assigned project. Attend and participate in regular review, assessment and evaluation of projects KRAs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Obtained Bachelor's degree in any engineering field and possessing a valid PRC licensed or its equivalent.
• A combined 10+ years of project management experience on horizontal and/or vertical developments in established developer company, including tracking and planning projects.
• Three (3)+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts.
• Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close.
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
