We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional to prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Analyze financial information and documents provided by clients.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of tax filings.
- Communicate with clients regarding tax-related matters.
- Assist clients with tax planning and advice to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions.
- Conduct research on tax issues and prepare necessary documentation for tax audits.
- Maintain accurate records of tax filings and client communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tax preparation and filing for individuals and businesses.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with tax preparation software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a remote team environment.
- Knowledge of international tax issues is a plus.
