About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to join our team and provide support in preparing and filing accurate tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in tax preparation, and a desire to grow within the field of taxation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and filing individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Organize and maintain tax-related documents and records.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify tax-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
- Previous experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.
- Experience in tax filing.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, ProSeries) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Purely remote work arrangement.
