US Tax and Payroll Specialist Job Summary

Seeking an experienced tax return and payroll expert to prepare and file US federal, state, and local tax returns ensuring compliance with all regulations. This role requires strong understanding of US tax laws, payroll processes, and proficiency in using QuickBooks Online (QBO) for financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage payroll processing and maintain accurate financial records using QBO.
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Stay updated with changes in US tax laws and payroll regulations.
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience in preparing tax returns and managing payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in QBO and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
