Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about procurement and supply chain management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine supplier needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as quality, delivery time, and price.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
