Procurement Specialist

Work Set-up: Hybrid; 2x onsite - 3x wfh

Location: One Ayala, Makati

CST (9pm to 6am)

Job Description:

The Procurement Expeditor is responsible for tracking and ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services procured by the company. This role acts as a liaison between the purchasing department, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to monitor order status, resolve delays, and maintain updated delivery schedules to support project timelines and production goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring on-time arrival of materials and services.
  • Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, and delays.
  • Update and maintain procurement and expediting logs, delivery schedules, and status reports
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and project teams to communicate order status and delivery timelines.
  • Identify potential delays or risks in the supply chain and escalate issues for resolution
  • Verify and confirm shipping and delivery documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and invoices.
  • Coordinate with logistics and shipping providers to manage transportation timelines and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, status updates, and corrective actions.
  • Support supplier performance reviews by providing expediting data and feedback.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of procurement and expediting processes.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience similar to the role.
  • End-to-end experience with Procurement; worked with POs, Invoices, Logistics, Tracking of Deliverables, Sourcing, Vendor Management, etc.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software preferred.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and processing shipping documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, and invoices.
  • Understanding of procurement workflows, supply chain processes, and logistics coordination.
