Job Description

Support the HR Function

The People Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources function by assisting with various people operations activities and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR and People Experience, excellent organizational skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for everyone at Deputy.
  • Provide support to employee questions and inquiries, delivering high-level customer service and exploring opportunities to innovate and advance our People Operations backbone.

HR Administration

  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee change requests, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Coordinate HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, change letters, and HR-related correspondence in Rippling, and performance reviews in Lattice.

Systems, Automation & Reporting

  • Ensure rigorous QA processes for all data entry tasks.
  • Develop automation of HR processes in Rippling to eliminate manual repetitive tasks.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding People policies, procedures, and benefits.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desired.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software; experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.

Additional Information

This role will be working remotely and on a fixed-term contract.
