About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team. As a key player in this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of sellers, ensuring time-sensitive support by providing hands-on guidance from initial onboarding through to deal closure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, with experience in brokering or sales roles. Proven analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to build personal relationships over-the-phone and in person are essential for success in this position.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sellers, providing strategic advice and guidance throughout the transaction process.
  2. Manage listings for existing sellers and support their sales journey, monitoring listing performance and providing regular updates, feedback, and recommendations to improve outcomes.
  3. Conduct valuation-driven analysis of client-provided P&Ls and high-level metrics to determine an appropriate valuation range.
  4. Support in the management and coordination of platform-generated legal documents, such as Letters of Intent (LOIs), Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
  5. Cultivate relationships with the buyside community and manage key strategic stakeholder relationships.
  6. Assist team members in presenting business proposals and negotiate optimal transaction terms.
  7. Maintain CRM hygiene using tools such as HubSpot to track leads, interactions, and opportunities effectively.
