Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular wildlife surveillances at airports to monitor activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Implement wildlife deterrent techniques, habitat management initiatives, and other mitigation measures to reduce risks.
  • Conduct wildlife hazard assessments at airports, identifying risks and developing strategies.
  • Support the implementation of wildlife management plans in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Collect and record wildlife observations, incidents, and mitigation activities for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in wildlife management techniques and technologies.
  • Provide assistance to airport staff and stakeholders in addressing immediate wildlife hazards and safety concerns.
  • Attend training programs and workshops on wildlife hazard management, safety protocols, and control techniques.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of wildlife activities, incidents, and mitigation actions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in wildlife management, biology, ecology, or related field required.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel to different airport locations as needed.
  • Preferably 1 year working experience in the aviation industry.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications.
