Job Title: Mortgage Support Specialist

This is a remote, full-time role where you will be hired by the client as a full-time employee with an expectation of exclusivity via an Employer of Record (EOR).

  • As a Mortgage Support Specialist, you will provide strategic support to debt advisory strategists, preparing evidence, data, and research before engagement to enable efficient delivery of advisory work.
  • You will set up Quickli workflows, prepare broker handovers, and analyze financial statements & tax returns.
  • Research market trends and regulatory changes; compile weekly intelligence and reports; coordinate valuations with lenders.
  • Manage timelines, follow-up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and maintain a reference database for future use; ensure professional client communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate should have mortgage industry knowledge – rates, products, lending criteria for the Australian market. Credit assessment proficiency is also required – reports, scoring, serviceability calculations.

  • Financial analysis skills are essential – statements, tax returns, complex income structures.
  • Regulatory compliance is crucial – NCCP, responsible lending, and related standards.
  • Technical skills include mastery of the Quickli platform, Broker Engine proficiency, advanced Excel/Sheets, and strong research methodology.
  • Communication skills involve professional written communication, cross-team collaboration, and presentation capabilities.
