Sr. Automation Tester

Overview:


At Nityo Infotech, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Automation Tester to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of automated testing strategies and scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java, JavaScript, C, C#, and shell scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Lead and mentor junior QA engineers in testing techniques and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, scripts, and defect tracking.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute manual testing strategies and scripts.
  • Develop and maintain test data and environments to support automated testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, and develop comprehensive test plans.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in Manual Quality Assurance and/or testing.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Automation Quality Assurance and/or testing with professional knowledge in programming languages and shell scripting.
  • Experience in leading a QA team in small to medium-sized projects.
  • Experience in various system development environments.
  • Exposure in business operations related to manufacturing, distribution, and financial operations.
  • Working knowledge in different types of testing (white box and grey box).
  • Working knowledge on test automation frameworks (BDD, KDT, DDT) and backend automation frameworks (Postman, SoapUI, Rest API).
  • Working knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
  • In-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC (Waterfall and Agile).
  • Extensive knowledge of QA testing tools, different test approaches, standards, and processes.
  • ISTQB Testing Certification (plus, not required).

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in creating a Master Test Plan.
