About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Autosys Automation Specialist to join our team at Gratitude Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise scheduling, automation, and production support.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivery of new applications to production and verification of system and application alignment with operational criteria.
  2. Coordination with technical teams to ensure seamless automation and support.
  3. Creation, deployment, and support of scheduled jobs for applications under responsibility.
  4. Enhancement of all scheduled jobs based on project and enhancement requirements.
  5. Creation of new flows between applications.

Industrialization responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing, implementing, and testing new job flows for new applications.
  2. Implementing flows between applications.
  3. Documenting new job flows.
  4. Packaging and deploying job flows.
  5. Providing level 3 support for new and existing job flows.

Pre-production support responsibilities will include:

  1. Framwork maintenance.
  2. Collecting and analyzing change requests related to core industrialization modules or job packages.
  3. Implementing and testing solutions before deployment.
  4. Analyzing and proposing solutions to incidents or abnormal behaviors of core modules or jobs.
  5. Proposing new solutions or enhancements for core modules.

Required qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
  2. At least 3 years' experience in IS support and maintenance, system analysis, system development, or related fields.
  3. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations.
  4. Able to take decisions/initiatives.
  5. Good communication skills in English.
  6. Knowledge of enterprise schedulers such as Unicenter Autosys, Control-M.
  7. Good knowledge of programming languages and modules management.
  8. Knowledge of Unix shell, PowerShell, and Perl scripting.
  9. Knowledge of source management systems.
  10. Basic administration skills on Windows Server and Linux.
  11. Understanding of MS-SQL Server and Oracle skills.
  12. Flows implementation with Go-Anywhere, Axway-CFT.

Desirable/preferable qualifications include:

  1. Capacity for problem analysis and resolution.
  2. Capable of learning by oneself and self-motivated.
  3. Good interpersonal skills, intercultural, customer-oriented, and good teamwork.
