Premises Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for the delivery and performance of facilities management services. It serves as the key point of contact with stakeholders across sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Manage Facilities Services: Ensure high standards are met in facilities management, safety, code compliance, functionality, energy efficiency, and site infrastructure.
  • Lead Onsite Team: Provide leadership and guidance to ensure delivery of high client service standards.
  • Manage Contracts: Manage contracts within approved allocations; provide updates on year-end projections.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare, collate, and submit facilities, financial, and project reports as required.
  • Coordinate Client Services: Coordinate with clients and stakeholders; work with vendors to manage projects per client specifications and timelines.
Safety First Culture:
  • Establish Safety First Culture: Establish a safety-first culture across sites and drive safety performance improvements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS, SLA, KPI, Satisfaction Surveys, and SOW requirements.
  • Liaison: Serve as liaison for facilities services (janitorial, pest control, landscape, waste management, space planning, etc.).
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainability initiatives and participate in recycling, energy, and waste reduction programs.
Site Operations:
  • Uptime: Ensure uptime of premises and respond to site incidents and emergencies.
  • Site Goals: Establish site-level goals and cascade objectives through the team's performance system.
  • Succession Plans: Maintain succession plans and manage performance reviews.
Qualifications:
  • Degree: Degree in Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
  • Skills: Pleasant personality with strong customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; good understanding of facilities operations and housekeeping management.
