As a Central Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in leading the global demand planning cycle of our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for owning and executing the monthly demand process from system handover to consensus sign-off, coordinating inputs from sales, product management, and finance, and ensuring outputs feed into supply planning and S&OP.
  • Improving forecast accuracy by driving measurable improvements in Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Bias, and Forecast Adherence using data-driven techniques and root-cause analysis to understand gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Bridging strategy and execution by translating commercial assumptions and market intelligence into an aligned, actionable forecast that drives capacity, procurement, and financial planning.
  • Advancing tools and reporting by developing and maintaining robust forecasting reports and KPIs using Excel, Power BI, and SAP IBP, pushing the team toward automated, visual, and insightful reporting.
  • Facilitating consensus and governance by orchestrating monthly consensus meetings and preparing executive-ready materials that clearly communicate changes, assumptions, and risks.
  • Supporting constrained planning by collaborating with the Supply Planner to identify constraint-driven adjustments and simulate scenarios to evaluate trade-offs.
  • Enhancing collaboration and accountability by acting as the single point of contact for demand planning across regions, pushing for timely inputs, challenging assumptions, and ensuring cross-functional accountability.
  • Leading process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and designing solutions whether it's template optimization, system enhancements, or training stakeholders on best practices.

SUCCESS will be measured by increased forecast accuracy with clear ownership of forecast drivers, faster and cleaner consensus cycles with improved cross-functional engagement, reliable reporting that shifts focus from data collection to decision-making, and a scalable process that enables constrained and scenario-based planning.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field; a master's is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in demand planning or S&OP in a multinational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively influence cross-functional teams.
  • High proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with SAP IBP is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills; able to translate data into decisions.
  • Fluent in English.

This is a full-time position supporting the European time zone. It requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
