The main purpose of the role is to develop and refine 24 months rolling demand plan both In-Market Sales and Shipment forecasts with clear baseline and building blocks assumptions for both Core SKUs & New Product Development, NPD SKUs focusing on the core markets of Export Far East (Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and South Korea). The role supports the Commercial team in terms of analysis of demand drivers cause by In-market activities such as competitor, uplifts from a promotion and price pack changes to influence Distributors to enrich the forecast.

About the Role

The role interacts heavily with both internal and external stakeholders. For internal stakeholders, the role works closely with Country Managers, Local Marketing Team, Trade Marketing Team & Finance Team. The role aligns baseline and building blocks assumptions with the internal stakeholders. Changes in the promotion plan must be analyzed to understand the impact of forecast changes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Monthly Integrated Business Planning cycle key meetings: Demand Review, Supply Review, S&OP.
  • Drive the one-number principle within the organization.
  • Analyze historical data and compute baseline demand (P+12) using demand planning tools available.
  • Lead initial forecasting for NPDs and promotional activities.
  • Initiate pre and post evaluation of NPDs and promo.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team on rolling consensus demand plan (CDP) for balance of the year.
  • Generate robust demand plan per DP Group.
  • Improve the demand planning at the depots.
  • Work with cross-functional team (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, CSR, Finance) on relevant concerns and issues like NPD, rationalization, transitions, sales and marketing programs.
  • Evaluate the existing demand planning tool and be the expert/super user of the tool.
  • Lead the e-commerce forecasting with Marketing and Customer Service.
  • Monitors Distributors discipline in uploading in CRM forecast IMS & Shipment, actual IMS & actual distributor inventory.

Qualifications

  • BS Business Management
  • BS Math/Statistics & other Business Courses
  • BS Industrial Engineering
  • BS Management Engineering

Required Skills

  • At least 5 Yrs of hands-on Demand Planning Experience
  • With International markets exposure is preferred
  • Implemented Forecasting process/tools for improvement
  • Familiarity with working dynamics with Distributors within Asia
