Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure the quality of our construction projects.

The successful candidate will conduct inspections, monitor daily activities, and prepare inspection reports. They will also verify that all materials and equipment meet the required specifications and standards.

In addition, the Quality Control Specialist will:

  • Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures;
  • Conduct orientation meetings with the field operations team;
  • Prepare quality control inspection reports and non-conformance reports;
  • Monitor and control daily activities;
  • Interact with other departments and clients regarding assigned tasks;

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering, and three to five years of experience in quality control in a construction setting. They should also possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of ASTM and ASME standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards;
  2. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues;
  3. Preparing and submitting regular inspection reports;
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues;
  5. Providing training and guidance to junior staff members on quality control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering;
  • Three to five years of experience in quality control in a construction setting;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Knowledge of ASTM and ASME standards;
