Senior React Native Software Engineer

About the Role

This is a contract full-time remote opportunity for those with significant React Native development experience.

As a Senior React Native Software Engineer, you will design and build applications using React Native, collaborating with distributed teams to leverage cutting-edge technologies and build secure, high-performance applications.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of React Native architecture, navigation patterns, and performance optimisation. They will also possess expertise in platform-specific implementations (iOS/Android) and native module integration.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Support component design, development, and maintenance.
  • Assist with defining structured practices in source code management, building, and deployment.
  • Design and implement data fetching and persistence solutions.
  • Optimise performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant React Native development experience.
  • Expert knowledge of React Native architecture, navigation patterns, and performance optimisation.
  • Proficiency with platform-specific implementations (iOS/Android) and native module integration.
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and performance best practices.
