Remote Support Specialist Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Level 1 Support Specialist in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user support via phone, email, and chat platforms.
  • Manage incidents and requests using ServiceNow ticketing software.
  • Perform daily follow-ups with end-users to ensure issue resolution.
  • Resolve user name and password problems efficiently.
  • Offer software and application support to employees.
  • Provide remote hardware support for laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and other equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+ certification is highly valued.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 10, and Active Directory environments is essential.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of remote access tools such as LogMeIn, TeamViewer, and Take Control is required.
  • Technical expertise in common hardware, software, and technologies is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure, O365, MFA, SSO, Okta, networking, and server concepts is beneficial.
