We are currently seeking an experienced professional to fill a position as Technical Support Specialist. As part of our technical support team, this role will involve collaborating closely with various stakeholders to resolve technical issues reported by application users in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing general ledger postings and investigating how figures are being calculated to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Investigating reporting queries by analyzing how the report gets its data and the calculations used, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Querying database tables to assist in resolving technical issues and provide expert solutions.
  • Troubleshooting application bugs and identifying gaps in the system for development and proposing workable solutions to improve overall performance.
  • Researching and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and documenting new processes and guidelines for future reference.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into their constituent parts and understand how these parts relate to each other.
  • Excellent IT literacy, with experience in SQL and knowledge of databases an advantage.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidates should have experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
