Real Estate Loan Specialist



Overview

This position involves coordinating investment property loans from application to closing. Key responsibilities include reviewing loan files, identifying potential issues and developing solutions, calculating key metrics, ordering third-party reports and tracking vendor deliverables, preparing comprehensive loan packages for underwriting submission, addressing underwriting conditions, and coordinating closing logistics.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in loan processing, preferably in investment property or private money lending
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment terminology, loan structures, title commitments, and entity structures (LLCs, trusts)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to catch errors before submission
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with ability to anticipate issues and develop solutions independently
  • Technical proficiency with CRMs, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and loan processing software
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining 100% accuracy and quality standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service orientation
