Job Description:

This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of all release functions. The Software Release Director will define the release strategy, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and driving operational excellence in the planning, scheduling, and delivery of software and system releases.

The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure that all releases meet business goals and quality standards. This includes managing and optimizing the release management process, coordinating across teams to streamline release cycles, overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of all releases, and developing and maintaining release documentation.

In addition, the Software Release Director will identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the release pipeline, ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards, establish governance frameworks for release planning, scheduling, and execution, and provide leadership and mentorship to team members involved in the release process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the Software Release Director should have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, proven experience in release management within a technology department, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release pipelines.

Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of healthcare technology systems and industry compliance standards, and a results-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
