Job Overview

This role is a critical component of our organization's IT infrastructure, responsible for overseeing and coordinating changes within a controlled environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with assessing risk, evaluating change impact, ensuring resource alignment, and facilitating the authorization of Change Records.

Position Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and assessing all change requests for risk and impact.
  • Ensuring all existing and new processes adhere to documentation standards for completeness, consistency, and compliance with policy guidelines.
  • Managing multiple concurrent change cycles to support the delivery of business initiatives ranging from minor updates to critical cross-organizational projects.
  • Facilitating weekly meetings to review upcoming changes, assess risks, and coordinate planning and communication.
  • Collaborating with business units, functional IT groups, and vendors to mitigate risks and resolve conflicts, ensuring system availability and integrity.
  • Tracking and reporting on all changes introduced to the system environment.
  • Leading regular knowledge-sharing sessions to promote change awareness and education.
  • Representing the organization in global and local meetings, demonstrating expertise in Change Management practices.
  • Proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving issues to prevent incidents and problems.
  • Collaborating with Incident, Problem, Release, and Continuous Service Improvement teams to identify root causes of change-related incidents.
  • Identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance change management effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of client/server infrastructure and applications.
  • Knowledge of Networks, file servers, and desktops.
  • Knowledge of Change Management practices and ITIL essentials.
