We are seeking a seasoned IT Change Management Specialist to drive transformative change initiatives across our organization.

This critical role involves overseeing and coordinating changes within a controlled IT environment, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing risk, evaluating change impact, and aligning resources to achieve strategic objectives. They will also facilitate the authorization of Change Records, guaranteeing that all changes are properly documented, communicated, and compliant with organizational standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess all change requests for risk and impact, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation standards, ensuring completeness, consistency, and compliance with policy guidelines.
  • Manage multiple concurrent change cycles to support the delivery of business initiatives, from minor updates to complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review upcoming changes, assess risks, and coordinate planning and communication.
  • Collaborate with business units, functional IT groups, and vendors to mitigate risks and resolve conflicts, ensuring system availability and integrity.
  • Track and report on all changes introduced to the system environment, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, including training and onboarding programs, to promote change awareness and education.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in change management, preferably in a complex, multi-vendor IT environment.
  • Proven ability to define, document, and manage change processes, with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Experience working in multi-sourced or outsourced IT environments, with a keen understanding of relational databases and Configuration Management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of client/server infrastructure and applications, as well as Networks, file servers, and desktops.
  • Knowledge of Change Management practices, Configuration Management Practices, Release Management practices, and ITIL or other Best Practices essentials.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to identify opportunities, take independent action, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
