Job Summary:

The Billing Analyst is a crucial role within the organization, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. This position will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall efficiency of the billing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and validate data to ensure timely and accurate billing results.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and streamline operations.
  3. Elicit and document business requirements to enable automation of manual tasks.
  4. Identify and implement changes to reduce inefficiencies and minimize risk.
  5. Complete billing setup for new clients based on contract terms.
  6. Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.
  7. Liaise with other operational teams to resolve billing issues and ensure accuracy and timely payments.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, NetSuite accounting system, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Prior experience in the financial field with a deep understanding of related regulatory requirements is an advantage.
