Role Overview

Senior Associate in Loans and Credit Processing Unit role is available at our organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Loan Application Review: Validate documentary requirements for loan applications, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial spreadsheets and evaluate the applicant's financial performance based on submitted documents; assess creditworthiness by analyzing financial health, cash flow capacity, business viability, and related party risks.
  • Credit Evaluation: Process credit evaluation requests and prepare well-supported recommendations on loan structure, credit terms, and limits; develop comprehensive credit analysis reports, including financial projections (if necessary), and borrower's risk rating using standard internal template.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor approved credit lines, track expiry and utilization, and recommend adjustments to credit limits based on updated analysis.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with the Credit and Collection Unit to facilitate appraisals and credit investigations; participate in client calls and meetings with Account Officers to gather insights for business and credit evaluation.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks and special assignments as may be required to support the department's objectives and the organization's strategic goals.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducational Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a related role; experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and credit analysis is highly desired.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Analytical Skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot trends and anomalies in financial statements
  • Ability to assess risk and make sound recommendations based on financial data
Communication Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports and present findings to senior management
Problem-Solving
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify credit risks and propose solutions to mitigate them
Time Management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
