Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every customer has an outstanding shopping experience.

  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales, maintaining accurate records at all times.
  • Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate, and provide receipts to every customer.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds quickly and efficiently, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer, managing cash effectively to minimize discrepancies.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly, promoting a positive shopping environment.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably with POS experience.
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
