Software Project Manager Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Level Software Project Manager to oversee and work closely with the development teams to ensure that all software projects are completed on time, within budget constraints, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Create detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, dependencies, and required resources.
  • Team Management: Manage and oversee the software development team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and support to complete their work on time and to a high standard. Delegate tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor the project for potential risks and take proactive steps to address them.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues. Facilitate effective communication between team members to ensure alignment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the software developed by the team meets the required quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures, conduct code reviews, and ensure thorough and effective testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Jira administration experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with Coda or equivalent platforms (Notion, Airtable, etc.) is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards is necessary.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills are required.
  • Experience in software project management is essential.
  • Software development experience is also desired.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment is necessary.
  • Experience overseeing software development using technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, AWS, and Flutter is beneficial.
  • An extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems is required.
  • Experience in managing a team remotely is desirable.
