Junior Financial Analyst Opportunity

The role of a Junior Financial Analyst involves working in a home-based environment, collaborating with cost center managers to gather, develop and consolidate annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts. Key responsibilities include supporting near- and long-term Profit and Loss (P&L) forecasting, aiding in financial budget/forecast revisions focusing on cost reduction, and preparing monthly budgets for actual review reports.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, as well as knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field, and 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.

A highly proficient communicator in both spoken and written English is required, along with strong customer service orientation, technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, databases and accounting software, and knowledge of industry-specific software such as QuickBooks, SAP or other relevant software.

  • Budget Review: Prepare and process cost center managers' monthly budget to actual review reports.
  • Budget Management: Assist in data gathering, developing and consolidating annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts.
  • Budget Feedback: Consolidate cost center managers' feedback and respond to concerns/queries as needed.
  • Profit & Loss Forecast: Support the near- and long-term P&L forecast.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Cost Reduction: Aid in ongoing regular financial budget/forecast reviews and revisions focusing on cost reduction.
