Job Description

The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients. The role involves effectively representing other Information Technology & Audio Video staff members, teams, and their services to the client community. This includes answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy.

  • Provide support for all Information Technology & Audio Video products and services.
  • Determine the most effective manner to resolve the customer's technical issue.
  • Engage in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Record required customer and problem information in the Work Order/Ticketing System.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of hardware, software, network troubleshooting, and basic to intermediate operating system functionality.
  • Experience with Control Systems and Digital Signal Processing, including Crestron Control Systems, Peavey Media Matrix, BSS London, and Rane Digital Signal Processing.
  • Customer service experience and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
