International Registries is looking for a new member of the IT Team located in our Manila, Philippines office. We're looking for a friendly, self-sufficient, and motivated individual who can bring useful skills and perspectives to our global IT team. This is a HelpDesk Specialist Tier 2 position, but Tier 1 applicants may be considered. The position is primarily in office (approx. 90%) with occasional travel or after hours work (10%). After hours work would primarily be on weekends, making this a 6-day work week. Commuters spending more than an hour on public transportation may want to reconsider.
Salary is up to ₱50,000/mo depending on experience.
Job Duties- First point of contact to provide IT HelpDesk support.
- Handle users' inquiries and provide solutions promptly and in a professional manner.
- Receive, triage, escalate and monitor IT service requests and fault reports throughout their lifecycle using the service management tools provided.
- Procurement and set-up of desktop and laptop computers for users, including installation of core applications like Microsoft Office.
- Develop and maintain documentation and user-guides.
- Assist in implementation of internal IT initiatives and projects.
- Occasional travel to other IRI offices, typically those which are Asia Pacific countries, may be required.
- After hours support may occasionally be required.
- Positive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and adaptability.
- Enthusiastic team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills who also can work independently.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English. Fluency in additional languages is a must.
- Able to work in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in supporting standard business software including Windows 10/11, MS Office365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams etc…), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in supporting the following technologies: Windows Active Directory (2016 or higher), Microsoft 365, LAN/WAN networking, mobile devices (Android and IOS platforms).
- Experience with VoIP technologies and systems (AVAYA, CISCO, 3CX, etc.) a plus.
- Experience supporting technologies from CISCO, VMWare, Windows, and cloud services like Azure and AWS a plus.
- Certifications in Microsoft Technologies (MTA/MCTS), CISCO (CCT/CCNA), CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA A+, is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years IT support experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.
